This pie chart plate enables fresh couples to grasp how well balanced their foods are roughly, without weighing foods or counting the nutritional value. The team targeted fresh couples for this plate. They tend to eat unhealthily in their new married life. Because the new life with partner enhances appetite. At the same time, they don’t want to trouble each other to care about their foods too much. To solve the problems, the team aimed to balance controlling their diet easily with enjoying to eat. And they achieved it getting inspiration from pie chart, the symbol of balance visualization.

One-Two-One

Impurities such as metals, rubbers and plastics must be removed during the glass sorting process which consumes huge amounts of electricity and manpower. And food container is the one needs to be sorted from other materials the most, because they consist of at least two different materials to make glass be sealed to keep food fresh. My design does not use any other materials except glass to form a confined space suitable for food storage. Using single material saves energy by reducing manufacturing steps and reduces the energy consumed during the glass sorting process.

Sumu Series

SUMU is one of cutlery series made of zirconia. They do not interfere with the flavours of dishes as absolutely no metallic ions are released. Consequently, they never become the cause of metallic allergies. You can focus on your sense of taste as the thin, silky finish of the zirconia tip makes it easy to take hold of the food with exceptionally smooth feeling in and out of the mouth. The matte zirconia cutleries softly reflecting atmospheric lighting shall bring serenity to the dining scene.

Utopia

Each piece of Utopia features a construction of different reliefs that adapts to the shape, inspired by Japanese geometries, enhancing it and giving it dynamism. The teapot has a lid that allows better handling because it fits perfectly to the hands; the cup of tea has a wider dimension to enhance the aromas of the beverage; the relief present in all the pieces was thought in a way to combine aesthetics with technology, beginning and ending subtly.
